Skills & Credentials
My work spans Windows Server, hybrid infrastructure and Microsoft Azure, with a focus on the administration, identity, governance and operational decisions that keep business services dependable. As a Systems Architect, I bring a practical systems administration perspective to understanding how platforms fit together and how they can be maintained and recovered.
This page brings together my certifications and the enterprise technologies I work with. My existing guides and future articles explore practical troubleshooting, platform administration, cloud services and the reasoning behind technical decisions. The certification badges link to their supporting credential pages.
Certifications
Skills & Competencies
The areas below reflect my enterprise administration and architecture work, covering server infrastructure, cloud platforms, identity, governance, virtual desktops, storage and data protection.
Windows Server & PowerShell
Windows Server administration and troubleshooting, including storage and volume management, file operations, long-path issues and pagefile dependencies. I use PowerShell and targeted diagnostics to investigate problems, understand constraints and plan changes with a practical recovery path.
Azure Local & hybrid infrastructure
Administration and troubleshooting across Azure Local and Azure Stack HCI environments. My focus includes virtual machine hosting, host and cluster connectivity, remote administration and the interaction between on-premises infrastructure and Azure management services.
Azure virtual machines & migration
Working with Azure virtual machines and Azure Migrate across cloud administration and workload migration. I focus on configuration, connectivity, migration troubleshooting and the operational dependencies that need to be understood when moving or maintaining a server workload.
Azure automation & app hosting
Using Azure Automation and Azure App Service for operational automation and application hosting, alongside Azure Static Web Apps. My work connects deployment configuration, application access and repeatable administration, with attention to diagnosing issues across the application and platform layers.
Microsoft Entra & Conditional Access
Microsoft Entra administration, application registrations, enterprise applications and single sign-on. My work includes access assignments and Conditional Access, considering how identity configuration, network location and application requirements combine to control access to business services.
Azure Policy & access governance
Working with Azure Policy and Azure role-based access control (RBAC) to understand policy constraints, resource access and role assignments. I distinguish tenant administration from Azure resource permissions and investigate assignment conditions before making access changes.
Power Platform & Dataverse
Power Platform administration and governance, including environment access, licensing and Dataverse permissions. My work includes reviewing what makers and users need across Power Apps, Power Automate and Dataverse, and understanding the relationship between environment roles, data access and licensing.

Omnissa Horizon administration
Virtual desktop administration and troubleshooting with Omnissa Horizon and VMware infrastructure. I work through the connections between desktop access, identity, domain status and underlying infrastructure, using targeted investigation to understand why a service behaves differently across access paths.
Azure Kubernetes Service
Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) administration as part of a broader Azure infrastructure skill set. My focus is on the managed Kubernetes platform and the networking, identity, configuration and operational dependencies that support containerized workloads.
VMware platforms & automation
Hands-on administration with VMware Aria Automation and Azure VMware Solution (AVS). These areas bring together virtual infrastructure, cloud management and infrastructure automation, with attention to configuration, operational troubleshooting and the dependencies between the platform and the workloads it supports.
Enterprise storage & data protection
Administration of Dell storage platforms through Unisphere, alongside PowerProtect Data Domain. My focus includes storage management, capacity, operational health and data protection, considering how storage services support server workloads and recovery requirements.
Azure storage services
Working with Azure NetApp Files, Azure Files and Azure Blob Storage across enterprise storage requirements. I consider the differences between file and object services, access and connectivity, capacity and how each service fits the needs of the workload it supports.
A practical approach to enterprise IT
Across these platforms, I value targeted troubleshooting, clear documentation, controlled changes and a credible recovery plan. I aim to understand dependencies and permissions before changing a system, and to explain both the steps and the reasoning when sharing what I learn.
Personal projects provide another place to explore Linux, containers and observability. They complement the enterprise administration and architecture topics that shape the direction of this site.
